Job Overview
We are a rapid prototyping production facility specializing in low volume, high quality part manufacturing. Our customers include private inventors, Fortune 500 companies, universities, and the US government.
We are looking for an experienced Lathe Machinist to join our team. This position is NOT an entry level position. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of part planning, programming, setting up, troubleshooting, and running lathes with live tooling parts in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties and responsibilities
- Works from drawings and/or specifications with little direction from supervisor.
- Plan, program, and machine complex parts in a variety of materials ranging from soft plastics to super alloys.
- Utilize MasterCAM to produce effective tool-paths and cutting strategies.
- Understand and deploy proper feeds/speeds for materials.
- Accurately perform in-process inspections while machining parts.
- Coordinate with other machinists on multi operation parts.
- Track actions by completing production and quality documentation.
- Provide on-the-job training to other employees in the department.
- Develop and maintain lathe tooling.
- Work safely and comply with all established safety rules and work practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years lathe machining and programing experience with a 2 year or equivalent Machining/CNC Technology degree or certificate.
- Experience in measuring lathe-oriented GD&T
- Experience with Haas machines.
- Strong understanding of G&M codes.
Working conditions
The Proto Technologies machine shop is in a climate-controlled building in Liberty Lake WA. The applicant can expect to work 3 or 4 days a week depending on the shift with the opportunity for occasional overtime. Manual lifting and pushing of 50 LBS will be required occasionally.

We’re looking for a reliable Shipping and Receiving Specialist to manage daily shipping tasks, incoming materials, inventory, and local pickups/deliveries. What You’ll Do
- Handle daily shipping, receiving, and inventory activities
- Prepare, package, and ship products according to customer requirements
- Complete required documentation (packing lists, FAIs, tracking, certificates)
- Verify incoming materials and inspect for accuracy/damage
- Label and stage received items; manage material flow to production
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
- Support inventory control for raw materials and finished goods
- Communicate priorities with supervisors and management
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year of shipping/receiving experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organization

Job Introduction
Proto Technologies, Inc., a nationwide manufacturer specializing in CNC Machined, Cast Urethane, 3D Printing, and Thermoformed parts, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quoting Specialist. This role combines customer-facing quoting responsibilities with technical estimating support. The ideal candidate is to be comfortable reviewing customer drawings/models, coordinating with internal technical staff, and preparing accurate, timely quotes within an AS9100D and ITAR-compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the communication channels and promptly process incoming quote requests.
- Review customer drawings, models, and RFQ details to determine project scope and needed inputs.
- Stage, process, and manage quotes within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and complete documentation.
- Work directly with internal teams to collect labor estimates, technical information, and lead-time data.
- Assist with interpretation of drawings and manufacturing requirements; escalate complex technical issues as needed.
- Request material, outside processing, and special process quotes from approved suppliers.
- Prepare and submit complete, professional quotes to customers.
- Track quote status, perform quote follow-ups, and contribute to win/loss analysis reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Job Overview
The Urethane Casting Technician will be responsible for creating cast urethane parts to customer specifications. This will include mixing materials, injecting into silicone molds, maintaining cast urethane equipment, part cleaning and finishing
An understanding of mold splits, undercuts, venting/gating and other basic molding techniques, and methods a plus. In addition, your experience should include knowledge of basic shop equipment (including band and table saws, end-mill, and drill press), measuring tools and devices, and understanding of the characteristics of silicones, urethanes, and epoxies, and a basic understanding of computers.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform urethane measuring and mixing, color matching and casting to produce prototype and production parts
· Understand two-part silicone molds utilizing SLA finished masters as the pattern
· Ensure careful removal of parts, cleaning of molds, and perform detailed inspection
· Trimming, repairing, and cleaning parts to meet customer delivery schedules
· Keep accurate project data sheets for the cast urethane projects to enable consistent results for recurring orders
Qualifications
1. Basic understanding of silicone molds, mold venting, release agents and gravity casting.
2. High School Diploma/GED/and/or years of equivalent education required
3. Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English Language
4. Ability to effectively interpret and translate instruction to other employees in a professional and respectful manner
Working conditions
Casting Technician will be working in a shop environment while using post curing ovens, impact wrenches, hand drill, and variety of silicone and urethane materials.

Position Overview:
As a Swing Shift Painter, you will play a crucial role in our painting department, supporting our skilled painters and ensuring the efficient preparation and finishing of products. Your primary responsibilities will include Painting and assisting with masking tasks, preparing surfaces for painting, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will collaborate with the painting team to meet production deadlines while upholding our commitment to producing flawless and aesthetically appealing prototypes.
Responsibilities:
- Apply Cerakote to customer specifications.
- Masking and Surface Preparation: Assist in applying masking materials to specific areas of parts and products, ensuring precise coverage according to design specifications. Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming as required.
- Paint Mixing and Material Handling: Help with the preparation of paint and coatings, ensuring accurate ratios and proper handling of materials to maintain quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Support the maintenance and cleaning of painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with the painting team to inspect finished products for defects, blemishes, or imperfections, and take appropriate actions to address any issues.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required during all tasks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and maintaining adequate levels of painting supplies and materials, notifying supervisors of any shortages.

Requirements:
