Staying active and involved in our community is important to helping ensure that our future employees and economy are strong and stable. We are continually trying to find new opportunities to invest in our community; here are a few of the organizations we are involved with.
First USA High School Student Robot Challenge! - We are a sponsor of this great program which gives high school students opportunities to compete in robotics competitions, hopefully sparking their interest in robotics as they continue to pursue education and employment in the engineering and manufacturing fields.
Washington Business Week - Spokane - Since 1976 the teen summer camp Business Week has been offered on college campuses across Washington. Students stay on campus and have the opportunity to preview college and the career world at the very same time. We continue to support this program annually, sparking students interests in the engineering and manufacturing fields.
SCC Manufacturing Week - Annually Spokane Community College hosts Manufacturing Week - giving current and prospective students the opportunity to learn more about jobs and careers in manufacturing in the Spokane area.
